Narada Kumara Narada is the Managing Partner of T&K. He is an experienced Indonesian lawyer with practice areas of restructuring & insolvency and disputes resolution. In addition, he also advises clients on mining and natural resources, construction and real estate, and banking and finance matters. Narada has broad experience in representing clients in resolving complex disputes, including through litigation before the Indonesian courts and arbitration proceedings (including those under the SIAC, HKIAC, ICC, and BANI rules), with clients from various business sectors, among others, private equity, banking and finance, mining, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, environment and natural resources, construction, and real estate. To name a few, Narada had successfully represented a civil engineering and contractor company headquartered in the South Korea (the contractor) as the claimant and award creditor in respect of the BANI arbitration proceedings and its subsequent enforcement proceedings due to a breach of contract dispute (using standard form of FIDIC Pink Book) against the regional agency of the Ministry of Public Works for the bypass expansion project in the Sumatera area worth around IDR62 billion. Narada is also well experienced in assisting clients in the police investigation process.

He also has extensive experience in debt and company restructuring, bankruptcy and suspension of payment litigation and process, and commercial disputes. He has represented both creditors and debtor companies in the bankruptcy and suspension of payment (PKPU) proceedings and out-of-court restructuring process, including in number of most significant bankruptcy and PKPU processes in Indonesia. He also had positive track records, on behalf of the petitionee, in resisting and revoking a PKPU decision issued by the Commercial Court due to the alleged fraudulent PKPU application by the unfriendly creditors.

In mining and natural resources sector, he has assisted coal, gold, and nickel mining companies, mineral refining / processing companies, independent power plant, forestry, and also the mining services companies in various aspects of the business, including corporate, compliance, environmental, mining rights and acquisitions, legal due diligence, contract negotiation (including coal supply/sale contract), and dispute resolution.

In construction works, he has assisted the clients in preparing and reviewing construction contracts using the standard form of the FIDIC Contracts, for several projects including buildings, highway, and railway. Narada regularly advises and assist domestic and multinational construction services companies and real estate developers regarding their projects in Indonesia. He also has assisted clients in some of high value real estate and property transactions as well as complex land acquisitions, among others for the construction and development of various types of buildings in several regions in Indonesia.

Narada has been admitted to practice before the Indonesian courts and is also member of the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI). He is also qualified as the administrator and receiver/trustee in bankruptcy/insolvency (pengurus dan kurator) for restructuring and insolvency process in Indonesia. Effective June 2024, Narada has been appointed as a member of the Audit Committee at PT Arita Prima Indonesia, Tbk.

Narada graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Faculty of Law of Padjadjaran University.
